Our History
Anderson’s Biomedical Consulting started out as Ronco Technical Services, Inc. on January 12, 1972. On December 17, 2013 Ronco Technical Services, Inc. was sold after more than forty one years in business and more than 3,000 active customers. It was a privately owned business and specialized in medical, veterinary, and dental equipment sales, service and repair company. Initially in 1972 our attention was focused on the repair and service of sterilization equipment, tabletop and large capacity sterilizers such as Midmark, Pelton Crane, Tuttnauer, Amsco, Castle, Steris, Consolidated, etc. Since that time we have been involved in the service, repair and calibration of anesthesia machines, surgical monitoring, surgical lights, oxygen generators, medical gases, surgical suction, ICU units, etc. We serviced and did warrantee repairs for more than forty-five different manufacturers.
When New York City Veterinary Specialists (now known as Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners) opened their first office in Manhattan, Ronco Technical Services was contracted to install the medical gas system, sterilizers, anesthesia machines, medical gas alarms, oxygen generator, surgical suction, etc. Next we set up the Brooklyn and Forest Hills, NY facilities. We continued our relationship setting up customized service contracts for their three offices.
As Ronco Technical Services, Inc. we had the unique distinction of installing the largest Oxygen Generating System in North America. This installation was at The Animal Medical Center in Midtown Manhattan a facility that had in use more than thirty five anesthesia machines and six intensive care units. Next we took on the monumental task of servicing and maintaining all of their veterinary medical equipment more than two hundred and fifty individual pieces, by designing a customized service contract to fit their specific needs.
Anderson’s Biomedical Consulting continues to use NFPA Certified Medical Gas Installers. We have designed and installed over 300 medical gas systems from small veterinary clinics less than 2,000 square feet in size to Plastic Surgery and Ambulatory Centers over 30,000 square feet. We repair and service anything having to do with medical gases from Automatic Manifolds to rebuilding Medical Gas Outlets, Zone Valve Boxes, Alarms, to replacing Medical Gas Hoses and Quick Connects Fittings.
